Tetrahydrocurcumin powder, or THC for short, is hydrogenated from curcumin isolated from turmeric rhizomes and is the main metabolite in the body. Compared with curcumin, tetra hydro curcumin has higher stability, stronger antioxidant properties, and better bioavailability than curcumin.
Available in powder and Tetrahydrocurcumin Capsule form.We have our own factory and can provide customized services based on customer requirements, including OEM and ODM.We can create tablets, capsules, and powder.
turmeric extract, tetrahydrocurcuminoids, turmeric supplement, turmeric tablets, curcumin powder, curcuminoids, curcumin tablets, curcumin supplement, turmeric and black pepper capsules, turmeric and ginger supplement are available.

tetrahydrocurcumin vs curcumin:
Experimental studies have confirmed that curcumin has poor stability, is easily decomposed by light, has poor water solubility, and has low bioavailability.
Structurally, tetrahydrocurcumin has fewer unsaturated C=C double bonds than curcumin, so it lacks the conjugated double bonds required for the chromophore. Therefore, in terms of appearance, tetrahydrocurcumin has the deep yellow color of curcumin. Turns into light yellow to white powder.

Curcumin is metabolized in the body into glucuronic acid conjugates, sulfate conjugates, dihydrocurcumin, tetrahydrocurcumin and hexahydrocurcumin, and dihydro and hexahydro are converted into tetrahydrocurcumin. Therefore, tetrahydrocurcumin has become a research hotspot at home and abroad in recent years.
1. Anti-oxidize effect
The molecular structure of tetrahydrocurcumin powder contains phenolic hydroxyl and β-diketone structures and is a natural antioxidant.
On the one hand, it can scavenge the generated free radicals, and on the other hand, it can also inhibit the generation of free radicals, thereby breaking the chain reaction of free radicals and blocking their damage to the skin and body. Its ability to inhibit DPPH free radicals is far superior to vitamin C, glabridin, and kojic acid.
The reducing ability of tetrahydrocurcumin to Fe3+ increases as the concentration increases. When the concentration reaches 10 μmol/L, the reducing ability of tetrahydrocurcumin to Fe3+ is greater than that of vitamin C at the same concentration.
2. Inhibit melanin production
Tetrahydrocurcumin not only protects cells from ultraviolet damage, but also plays a very good role in inhibiting tyrosinase activity. Its inhibitory effect on tyrosinase is more than 18 times that of arbutin.
3. Anti-inflammatory
The anti-inflammatory effect of tetrahydrocurcumin is by inhibiting the main inflammatory mediator cyclooxygenase, etc., thereby effectively reducing skin inflammation and reducing the formation of erythema.

1. Tetrahydrocurcumin can be used in whitening products and can be combined with other whitening agents.
2. Tetrahydrocurcumin solid dispersion is used in antidepressant research, and its in vivo test results show that tetrahydrocurcumin solid dispersion has the potential to be used as an antidepressant drug, health product, food or food additive.
