What is semaglutide?

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to promote glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

A University at Buffalo study has found that treating newly diagnosed type 1 diabetes patients with semaglutide may significantly reduce their need for insulin injections. The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

One clinical report stated that semaglutide resulted in weight loss of 6.1% to 17.4% in non-diabetic patients and 4% to 6.2% in diabetic patients, and another reported that after 68 weeks of weekly treatment with somarlutide, 86.4% of participants lost 5% or more of their body weight, and 69.1% lost 10% or more of their body weight.
While lamenting the surprising effects, people are also looking for natural alternatives, especially those with a long history of safe use.
Many studies compare semaglutide powder to berberine powder. The study found that phentermine-topiramate and GLP-1 receptor agonists proved to be the best weight loss drugs, while semaglutide may be the most effective among the GLP-1 agonists.

The study also found that some patients with diabetes still have insulin in their pancreatic beta cells, leading researchers to speculate that semaglutide, which works by stimulating beta cells to secrete insulin, may replace insulin injections.

Semaglutide dosage

When starting to take semaglutide, it is recommended to take 3 mg once a day for 30 consecutive days. 3mg semaglutide tables are used to initiate therapy and are ineffective for glycemic control.
After taking 3 mg for 30 days, increase the dose to 7 mg each time, or you can also take two 3 mg tablets once a day.
Semaglutide should be taken orally once daily. Swallow the tablet whole and avoid cutting, crushing or chewing the tablet.
