Bifidobacterium Lactis Probio M8

Bifidobacterium lactis Probio-M8 is a new strain isolated from the breast milk of healthy women in 2017. It has good probiotic properties and provides multiple probiotic functions after consumption.
Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis Probio-M8 is an anaerobic bacterium that shows optimal growth ability at 37°C. In terms of metabolism, it was also found that it can grow in an environment of 10-42°C and can effectively utilize glucose, lactose, sucrose and maltose, etc.

The morphological characteristics of Bifidobacterium lactis Probio-M8 are short rods, distributed singly or in pairs and clusters, with oval ends and bifurcated tips.
Since Probio-M8 belongs to the same subspecies as Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. lactis BB-12, they may have similar fermentation characteristics, sensory characteristics and functional effects in milk fermentation.
