Erythritol powder is a natural sugar alcohol found in fruits such as grapes and pears. It is a derivative of sugar and is not affected by temperature and acid-base environments.
In 1999, the World Health Organization (WHO) Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) also confirmed its safety.
Scientists have found that erythritol has almost no calories and is highly stable. It has only 0.21 calories per gram and will hardly cause changes in blood sugar. After ingesting erythritol, most of it will be absorbed and subsequently Excreted in urine.

JBL erythritol has been used in toothpaste because of its anti-caries properties, promotes the decomposition of dental plaque, and is beneficial to maintaining oral health.
Erythritol is not easily degraded by enzymes, does not participate in sugar metabolism, and does not cause changes in blood sugar. It is suitable for use as a health food for diabetic patients.
Erythritol is used in shampoos and has excellent moisturizing properties, making hair softer and improving frizz.

1. Erythritol powder is used by many food and beverage brands as a substitute for sucrose. Products with added erythritol are favored by food and beverage manufacturers because they contain less sugar and retain their delicious taste.
2. In addition to the food industry, erythritol is also widely used in personal cosmetics.
Currently, erythritol has been used in food production in the United States, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Mexico and other countries.
