Ginger reduces the risk of high blood pressure and coronary heart disease

A Chinese study published in the nutrition journal shows that ginger has the potential to prevent chronic diseases, especially high blood pressure and heart disease.

In this study, researchers evaluated daily intake of different levels of ginger. The results show that ginger can reduce the risk of hypertension and heart disease. People over the age of 40 also have a reduced risk of illness; people over the age of 60 have been relieved of hypertension.
